Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 3–5 years of scheduling experience, strong analytical skills, and effective communication to coordinate with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing construction project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with planning and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex project timelines.
• Proven experience in coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and integrated planning systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create and maintain comprehensive project schedules utilising industry-standard planning and scheduling software (Primavera P6)
• Monitor project progress against established timelines and identify potential delays or risks to schedule adherence
• Prepare and update project schedules, incorporating changes in scope, resources and external factors
• Coordinate with site managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones
• Conduct critical path analysis and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project schedules
• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects
• Produce detailed scheduling reports and presentations for project stakeholders and senior management
• Identify scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks, implementing solutions to optimise project delivery
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment
• Support project managers in budget forecasting and cash flow management related to schedule performance
