Aboitiz Power Corporation (Power) is seeking a Maintenance Planning Specialist to generate routine and major maintenance plans for its coal power plants. You will optimize manpower, tools, and materials, aligning Maximo CMMS with the station’s long-term maintenance program.
The role requires a PRC-licensed engineer with 3+ years in coal plants, strong data analysis to improve MTBF/MTTR, and the ability to train Operations teams on planning disciplines and Maximo usage.
Mission: Generate routine and major maintenance plans and activities, while establishing spare parts standards and requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance across the plant.
Planning & Scheduling:
Execute detailed resource capacity planning and leveling to optimize manpower, tools, and materials.
Prepare and recommend routine, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.
Consolidate, develop, and recommend routine and major maintenance plans and plant maintenance budgets.
Lead the integration of preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance plans to build the station’s long-term maintenance program.
Analyze IBM Maximo reports and data to continuously adjust and optimize maintenance schedules.
Maintenance Monitoring & Technical Leadership:
Monitor the execution of maintenance plans and generate technical reports on schedule compliance for plant equipment.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and Maintenance Execution Index (MEI)
Serve as the department’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IBM Maximo (CMMS), ensuring data integrity, asset hierarchy maintenance, and work order tracking.
Provide functional training and coaching to Maintenance and Operations teams on maintenance planning disciplines and Maximo utilization.
Supply Chain & Quality Compliance:
Monitor spare parts inventory levels and recommend minimum/maximum stock thresholds to meet maintenance demands
Support plant-wide reliability projects and cross-departmental initiatives.
Ensure full compliance with company EHS, quality, and information security management policies based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 27001 standards.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering.
Professional License: Must be a Registered Engineer (PRC License).
Work Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Coal Power Plants.
Technical & Functional Competencies:
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) / Asset Management Systems, specifically IBM Maximo
Intermediate proficiency in Plant Maintenance Management.
Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Risk Assessment, and Safe Work Systems.
Fundamental understanding of CAPEX and OPEX management.
