Job summary

Aboitiz Power Corporation (Power) is seeking a Maintenance Planning Specialist to generate routine and major maintenance plans for its coal power plants. You will optimize manpower, tools, and materials, aligning Maximo CMMS with the station’s long-term maintenance program.

The role requires a PRC-licensed engineer with 3+ years in coal plants, strong data analysis to improve MTBF/MTTR, and the ability to train Operations teams on planning disciplines and Maximo usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering.
• PRC-licensed professional engineer.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in coal power plants.
• CMMS / asset management proficiency, especially IBM Maximo.
• Knowledge of RCA, risk assessment, and safe work systems; CAPEX/OPEX understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules including routine, preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks.
• Analyze IBM Maximo reports to optimize maintenance schedules and KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, MEI).
• Monitor execution of maintenance plans and generate schedule-compliance reports.
• Lead maintenance planning discipline training for Maintenance and Operations teams.
• Support supply chain for spare parts inventory and ISO compliance requirements.

    Prepare and recommend routine, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.

    Consolidate, develop, and recommend routine and major maintenance plans and plant maintenance budgets.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Lead the integration of preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance plans to build the station’s long-term maintenance program.

    Serve as the department’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IBM Maximo (CMMS), ensuring data integrity, asset hierarchy maintenance, and work order tracking.

    Monitor spare parts inventory levels and recommend minimum/maximum stock thresholds to meet maintenance demands

2. Qualifications

  Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering.
