Job summary

universalai is seeking a placement coordinator to coordinate campus recruitment drives, engage with IT firms and recruiters, and manage end-to-end placement processes. You will organize pre-placement talks, assessments, interviews, and GDs while maintaining a comprehensive database of opportunities and outcomes.

The role requires building strong industry connections, coordinating student registrations, eligibility checks, and training programs to improve employability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline (CS/IT/CE).
• MBA/PGDM in HR/Marketing/Operations is an added advantage.
• Excellent coordination and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus recruitment drives with IT companies, startups, and recruiters.

Job description

• Coordinate placement activities for CSE and allied programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with IT companies, technology firms, startups, consulting organizations, and other recruiters.
• Identify and invite companies for campus recruitment drives.
• Coordinate pre-placement talks, technical assessments, interviews, coding tests, group discussions, and recruitment processes.
• Maintain an updated database of students, recruiters, job opportunities, internships, and placement outcomes.
• Coordinate student registration and eligibility verification for recruitment drives.
• Track placement statistics and prepare periodic placement reports.
• Identify skill gaps among students and coordinate training programs to improve employability.
• Coordinate aptitude, coding, technical, communication, soft-skills, interview, and industry-readiness training.
• Facilitate internships, industrial visits, live projects, and industry interactions.
• Organize career fairs, recruitment drives, industry talks, alumni interactions, and career-development activities.
• Coordinate with faculty members, department leadership, training teams, and central placement cells.
• Support students in resume development, interview preparation, professional communication, and career planning.
• Maintain strong alumni and industry networks for placement opportunities.
• Track and report placement offers, packages, recruiters, internships, and other employability metrics.
• Ensure professional communication and smooth coordination between recruiters and students.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, or a related field will be an added advantage.
