Job summary

The role requires deep knowledge of Philippine energy and environmental regulation, strong coordination with agencies such as DOE, DENR-EMB, ERC, and LGUs, and the ability to manage multiple permit workstreams while ensuring timely compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in environmental/regulatory fields as listed.
• JD or active law study is a plus and beneficial for regulatory work.
• Post-graduate training in environmental law or energy regulation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end permitting including DOE contracts, ERC registration, and LGU clearances.
• Coordinate environmental permits such as ECC, EIA, and annual reports under Philippine law.
• Secure niche clearances (NWRB water rights, FPIC, HLURB/DHSUD) for project sites.
• Track permit calendars, initiate renewals, and maintain organized files.
• Ensure DOE/Regulatory compliance reporting and agency communications.
• Collaborate with Legal and project teams to mitigate regulatory risks and support financing.
