Job summary

IT Managers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Test Lead in the Philippines to drive end-to-end performance testing for enterprise-scale applications.

You will design test scenarios, develop and maintain scripts with LoadRunner VuGen, and coordinate across cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and deliver actionable reports. Responsibilities include executing tests, analyzing results, and mentoring junior testers, with a focus on LoadRunner Enterprise and JMeter.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and performance test management.
• Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner Enterprise.
• Proficiency in LoadRunner VuGen for performance script development and debugging.
• Experience designing performance test scenarios, workloads, parameters, and test data.
• Experience with performance test execution, log extraction, monitoring, and result analysis.
• Strong proficiency in JMeter.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end performance testing activities, from planning and test design through execution and reporting.
• Design performance test scenarios, workload models, test parameters, and test data based on application requirements.
• Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner VuGen.
• Configure and manage performance test scenarios using LoadRunner Enterprise.
• Execute performance tests and monitor system behavior during test runs.
• Extract and analyze test logs, performance metrics, and execution results.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development, infrastructure, and application teams to determine root causes.
• Prepare performance test reports, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using JMeter.
• Perform scripting activities in JMeter, including parameterization, correlation, annotations, and test configuration.
• Support performance test planning, estimation, scheduling and resource coordination.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to performance testing team members.
• Ensure performance testing activities follow established quality standards, processes, and best practices.
