Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in Manila to develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright, ensure test coverage, and report status. You will collaborate with QA and BA teams to create robust automation scripts and enhance the automation framework.

The role emphasizes implementing reliable test scripts, executing both automated and manual tests, and contributing to regression and UAT activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience applying STLC and test automation practices.
• Ability to create automation scripts with Playwright.
• Review requirements and identify automation needs.
• Develop and maintain Playwright automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, SIT, and regression tests.
• Execute automated and manual tests and participate in UAT.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of STLC, software testing methodologies, and test automation practices.
• Review requirements, specs, and user documentation to identify automation needs.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts using Playwright in collaboration with QA team.
