Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Data Analyst, People Technology, to lead database-level quality assurance, RCA, and reporting across HR platforms. You will bridge HR operations and IT, applying RCA and ITIL concepts to safeguard data accuracy and ensure reliable data lineage.

Key tasks include performing RCAs on data anomalies, writing complex SQL queries, and producing standard HR reports and dashboards for executive decisions. Strong collaboration across HR, IT, and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR analytics, technical data analysis, or IT process analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data quality mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Database RCA & System Integrity: perform root cause analysis on anomalies, data pipeline issues, and system failures to implement long-term fixes.
• SQL Querying & Diagnostics: write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to inspect tables, validate schemas, and trace data lineage.
• Quality Audits & Risk Assessment: conduct data quality audits, analyze incident trends, and assess risks across HR systems.
• HR Reporting & Analytics: design, build, optimize, and maintain standard reports and dashboards for HR decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: liaison between HR ops, HR IT, developers, and vendors to translate needs into DB requirements.
• Process Documentation & Knowledge Base: maintain post-incident reports and centralize HR system documentation.
