Your Role
As a People Development Officer, you will:
- Conduct thorough training needs analyses across departments using surveys, interviews, and performance data.
- Design and develop comprehensive learning programs and workshops using instructional design methodologies.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to diverse employee groups, adapting styles to different learning preferences.
- Partner closely with department heads and HR Business Partners to ensure L&D initiatives support their objectives.
- Maintain and update the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) and training resource library.
- Contribute to the enhancement of new employee onboarding programs for smooth integration.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and internal knowledge sharing.
What You Need
Non‑negotiables
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a Learning and Development or Training role.
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills/Expertise
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to training and development.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing training needs and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Experience within a BPO or corporate environment in the Philippines.
