Job summary

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Philippines seeks a Finance and Administrative Officer for the PROSPER-Bangsamoro project. The role ensures robust financial management, reporting, and administrative coordination to support peacebuilding initiatives in BARMM through the Crisis Resilience unit.

The incumbent maintains compliance with UNDP rules, prepares forecasts, supports audits, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure timely financial delivery and donor reporting.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Filipino is required.
• Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience acceptable.
• Experience with donor-funded projects and international organizations is desirable.
• Professional accounting qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with UNDP financial rules and internal controls.
• Prepare forecasts, disbursement requests, and donor reports.
• Support funding requests and amendments to donor agreements.
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure reports meet donors' requirements.
• Consolidate donor financial reports and manage payments and budgets.
• Provide timely financial support for project operations and asset management.
