Job summary

Global Roles seeks a Finance and Administrative Officer to support the PROSPER-Bangsamoro project, handling day-to-day financial management, monitoring, reporting, and operational coordination. Qualifications

• Advanced degree in finance or related field; strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years’ experience required; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Experience in financial management, reporting, and project coordination for development projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective financial and administrative support to PROSPER-Bangsamoro and other peacebuilding projects.
• Ensure compliance with UNDP financial rules, regulations, policies, and strategies.
• Review financial situation and support preparation of forecasts and disbursement requests.
• Support development of funding requests, negotiations, and amendments to contribution agreements.
• Review and approve funding authorization and expenditure certificates from partners.
• Facilitate annual audits and monitor financial exception reports.
• Ensure all financial transactions and reports comply with Contribution Agreement and UNDP policies.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on financial reports before submission to donors.
• Prepare payment requests and ensure timely processing of disbursements.
• Coordinate with UNDP units, implementing partners, and project teams for financial data gathering.
