Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a verification leader to head PCIe/CXL verification across digital IP controllers.

You will shape the verification strategy, guide multi-site teams and ensure high-quality results that align with the product line’s plan. You will mentor engineers, drive reusable verification methodologies (UVM, CRV, functional coverage) and work with customers and peers to deliver robust IP products.

Qualifications

• A verification expert in UVM methodologies and constrained random verification.
• Experience leading large verification teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of PCIe technologies and related protocols.
• Proven ability to structure large teams with clear accountability.
• Experience in IP product development and verification leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Ultimately responsible for PCIe/CXL verification strategy and functional quality.
• Lead and manage large R&D verification engineers verifying digital IP controllers (PCIe/CXL).
• Ensure verification team capacity and structure meet market demand and plan-of-record.
• Adopt methodologies improving controller quality and team productivity.
• Manage project scope, schedule, costs, risks; monitor convergence metrics.
• Lead verification R&D activities for pre-/post-sales support and escalation handling.
