Job summary

The Lennor Group is seeking a Payroll Supervisor in the Philippines to oversee end-to-end payroll processing for our local employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Philippine regulations. You will lead a payroll team and coordinate with HR, Finance, and external providers.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years in payroll operations, 3 years of people management, and deep knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in payroll operations, with strong experience handling end-to-end Philippine payroll.
  • At least 3 years of people management or supervisory experience, preferably leading a payroll team.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll, taxation, and statutory benefits, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Hands-on experience in the end-to-end local payroll process, including payroll computation, tax withholding, statutory contributions, remittances, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Proficient in using payroll systems/HRIS, with experience in payroll processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and system improvements.
  • Strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance, reconciliation, and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, Finance, employees, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end Philippine payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, overtime, leaves, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely processing of payroll taxes and statutory contributions, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Monitor compliance with Philippine payroll, taxation, labor, and statutory requirements, and ensure timely submission of required reports and remittances.
  • Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and variances to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Lead and supervise the payroll team by assigning workloads, monitoring deliverables, providing coaching, and supporting team development.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex payroll concerns and provide guidance on payroll, taxation, and statutory benefit matters.
  • Manage and maintain payroll systems, ensuring accurate employee data, payroll configurations, and system processes.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, Accounting, IT, and external payroll providers on payroll-related concerns, system improvements, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and automation while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing payroll records, reconciliations, reports, and other required documentation.
  • Handle employee and stakeholder inquiries related to payroll, taxes, statutory benefits, and other payroll matters.

About the Role:

The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of end-to-end payroll operations for employees in the Philippines. This role manages the payroll team, ensures compliance with Philippine statutory requirements and taxation regulations, and serves as a subject matter expert on payroll processes, statutory benefits, and payroll systems.

The ideal candidate has strong people management experience, extensive knowledge of Philippine payroll practices, and a solid track record in managing the complete payroll cycle, including payroll computation, taxation, statutory benefits, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll system administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end Philippine payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery.
