OPPO Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Specialist to support our growing HR operations. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and employee benefits administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate payroll execution and efficient benefits delivery aligned with company policies and local labor laws.
Compute and process payroll manually or using spreadsheet-based systems for a high employee headcount
Ensure on-time salary releases and coordinate with Finance for payroll funding
Calculate and deduct statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG, BIR) in full compliance with legal requirements
Prepare and distribute payslips; respond to employee payroll-related inquiries
Administer government-mandated benefits and company-provided incentives (leave credits, KPIs, etc.)
Manage enrollment, updates, and terminations for benefit programs
File and submit accurate reports to relevant government agencies (e.g., SSS R3, PhilHealth RF-1, Pag-IBIG MCRF, BIR 2316)
Maintain up-to-date records for benefits and payroll audits
Maintain accurate and organized employee files and payroll records
Generate reports related to payroll, headcount, and statutory compliance
Support internal HR reviews and audits
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant experience in manual payroll processing, timekeeping, and statutory benefits administration
Adequate knowledge of Philippine statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) including their implementing rules and procedures
Proven experience handling government statutory benefits, payroll, and timekeeping is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel (especially formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and agile environment
