Job summary

Newport World Resorts in Pasay, Philippines, is seeking a Payroll Associate to ensure accurate and timely payroll for all employees in compliance with local labor laws. You will validate timekeeping, manage deductions, and prepare payroll reports as part of a coordinated HR/Finance team.

Responsibilities include remittances to SSS/PhilHealth/BIR, year-end processes, and final pay calculations for separations. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong Excel and payroll software skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in payroll is a plus.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Process timely and accurate payroll for all employees, validate timekeeping and overtime; include deductions per policies and gov’t agencies.
• Prepare payroll entries, reconciliations and reports for other departments; ensure proper documentation and recording.
• Process final pay for resigned/terminated employees including accountabilities and held salaries.
• Prepare and remit remittances for SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth and BIR by deadlines.
• Assist with year-end requirements including BIR 2316 distributions.
• Gather and organize requested payroll documents to support audits and ensure easy access.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly while complying with policies and laws.
