Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Payroll Associate to own end-to-end payroll processing in a dynamic HR/Finance setting in the Philippines. You will consolidate timekeeping, track leaves, and prepare 2316s and final pay for exits, while ensuring accuracy in statutory remittances and year-to-date reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for a BPO or shared services (1–2 years).
• In-depth knowledge of manual tax computations, overtime, night differential, and deductions.
• Experience with BIR annualization.
• Ability to collaborate with HR and Finance teams.
• Up-to-date with local payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• In-charge of end-to-end payroll processing.
• Consolidate Timekeeping Reports from different departments.
• In-charge in tracking the leaves of employees.
• Prepares 2316 and Final Pay computation for resigned employees.
• Prepares payroll reports, journal entries, funding requirements and other needed reports.
• Investigate and resolve payroll queries and accommodate payroll disputes.
• Prepares user manual for employee use.
• In-charge in processing government statutory remittances and loans monthly.
• Reconciliate year to date income and prepare Alpha listing report for BIR.
• Prepare Alphalist and liaise to BIR for Year Tax annualization documents.
• Attend inquiries of employees regarding Payroll and benefits.
• Conduct payroll orientation for new hires.
• Identify and propose solutions for process improvements.
• Assist with special projects, as requested.
