Job summary

Acclime in Makati is seeking a Payroll Associate to ensure accurate payroll calculations and timely payments for client employees while complying with local laws and client policies. Responsibilities include processing salaries, deductions, and statutory submissions, maintaining records, and generating payroll reports.

The role requires 1–2 years in payroll or HR operations, familiarity with Philippine regulations, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing, HR operations, or HR outsourcing.
• At least 1 year experience handling end-to-end payroll and statutory submissions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, Wtax to BIR, CPF, IR8A/AIS).
• Familiarity with Philippine employment regulations and statutory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (at least 7/10) with good analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Process client employee salaries on a bi-monthly or monthly cycle and include payments if engaged.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
• Handle deductions: taxes, statutory deductions, and other applicable withholdings.
• Maintain payroll records and client data.
• Ensure compliance with local labor/tax laws and update clients on changes.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and client inquiries.
• Prepare payroll reports and ad-hoc schedules.
• Submit government reports (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR WTax, etc.).
• Process GMPL and other claims to government agencies when necessary.
