We are looking for a detail-oriented and organizedPayroll Assistantto join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely distribution of payroll to employees.
- Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data such as hours worked, bonuses, and deductions.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies regarding payroll processing.
- Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory benefits is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and strong sense of responsibility.
