Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an HR Officer, Payroll responsible for payroll processing, timekeeping and related transactions. You will encode data, prepare payroll reports, and handle final pay calculations for various staff groups.

The role requires at least four years of payroll experience, proficiency with payroll software, and strong communication and organizational skills to support the Total Rewards team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, Business Administration, or other related courses.
• At least four (4) years of experience in payroll processing.
• Knowledge of the usage of payroll software applications.
• Customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Project management and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely for non-confidential employees, retainers, consultants and other payroll groups.
• Encode and validate data entry of overtime, recurring, and one-time payroll transactions for Corporate and other Medical group.
• Process required data for newly-hired employees.
• Encode employee payroll information in the payroll system.
• Prepare reports on employee payroll information data and related documents for validation of the Unit Manager, Total Rewards (Payroll).
• Prepare promotion letters and discuss the details with the concerned employees.
• Prepare payroll controls to ensure that the total head count and basic are tallied before uploading the salary.
• Compute and release final pay and retirement pay for retired employees, consultants, retainers, and fixed-term employees.
• Attend to customer's queries related to payroll, final pay and other related matters.
• Perform quality checking and monitoring of completion of employees' 201 file.
