Job summary

Samgyupsalamat is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to manage the end-to-end payroll process and ensure accurate, on-time payroll for all employees across the organization.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of payroll experience (supervisory preferred), strong knowledge of Philippine payroll requirements, proficiency in Excel, and hands-on experience with payroll systems to ensure timely reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of payroll experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Highly proficient in manual payroll computation.
• Familiarity with payroll systems/software.
• Knowledge of Philippine statutory payroll requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience handling payroll for multiple branches or a large workforce is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle the end-to-end payroll process, from timekeeping validation to payroll finalization and release.
• Prepare and review payroll computations, including overtime, leaves, absences, deductions, incentives, and other adjustments.
• Perform manual payroll computations and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Utilize payroll systems/software for payroll processing and reporting.
• Process and monitor statutory contributions and deductions such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax.
• Reconcile payroll and ensure accuracy before payroll release.
• Prepare payroll reports and other required documentation.
• Address employee payroll concerns and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
• Supervise and guide payroll staff and ensure payroll deadlines are met.
