1Life Inc. in Quezon City is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees. You will validate attendance, timekeeping, adjustments, and deductions in coordination with HR and Finance, ensuring accuracy before payroll release.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Finance and 2–3 years’ payroll/HR operations experience, with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and knowledge of PH regulations. Confidentiality is essential.
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role ensures that attendance, timekeeping, salary adjustments, deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related information are properly validated and processed in coordination with HR, Finance, and department heads.
Coordinate the end-to-end payroll preparation and processing for employees.
Collect, review, and validate attendance, timekeeping, overtime, undertime, absences, leaves, and other payroll-related records.
Ensure accurate encoding and updating of employee payroll information in the payroll system.
Prepare payroll inputs including salary adjustments, allowances, incentives, deductions, loans, and other employee benefits.
Coordinate with HR and department heads regarding attendance discrepancies, payroll adjustments, and employee movements.
Review payroll reports and conduct reconciliation to ensure accuracy before payroll release.
Assist in the preparation and processing of government-mandated contributions and deductions, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and supporting documents.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, timekeeping, benefits, and other payroll concerns.
Monitor employee changes such as new hires, resignations, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, and status changes and ensure these are properly reflected in payroll.
Coordinate with Finance regarding payroll funding, disbursement, and payroll-related reports.
Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and other documentation required by management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor and payroll regulations.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as may be assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of experience in payroll, compensation and benefits, or HR operations.
Knowledge of Philippine payroll processes, statutory contributions, and government regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and payroll systems.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism.
Able to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines.
Experience handling end-to-end payroll processing.
Knowledge of timekeeping and attendance systems.
Familiarity with HRIS/payroll software.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Good coordination with employees, department heads, HR, and Finance.
