Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Payroll Operations professional to join the US Payroll Operations Team in the Philippines. You will ensure compliance with local payroll laws, coordinate with partners, and support accurate and timely payments.

The role requires 2–3 years of US payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to navigate tax regulations. Oracle experience is a plus, with opportunities for career growth in a global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Payroll, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of US payroll processing experience in a multi-division, multi-state environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to understand tax laws and ensure proper paycheck taxation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and enter payroll data including adjustments to process payroll for employees.
• Update employee records and interact with third parties for expats and international commuters.
• Assist with annual special payments, year-end tax statements, and W-2 issuances as assigned.
• Research payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Support periodic tax submissions and coordinate with Payroll Tax lead on agency applications.
