Job summary

Emerson in Mandaluyong, Philippines, is seeking a Payroll Operations Supervisor to oversee APAC payroll activities within an outsourced environment. The role coordinates with vendors and DHCM to ensure timely, compliant payroll service delivery across the region.

You will manage governance, performance metrics, and continuous improvement while developing the payroll team and supporting strategic projects for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business/Finance or related field.
• 5–7 years of payroll operations experience including APAC exposure.
• 2–3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls, and compliance.
• Experience managing service delivery metrics and KPIs.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and payroll systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee payroll operations across APAC countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor performance, KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery against standards.
• Manage escalated payroll, compliance, and vendor-related issues to resolution.
• Serve as escalation point for business units and vendors, fostering partnerships.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll legislation, tax rules, and labor requirements.
• Lead system enhancements, interface changes, testing, and improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members with clear expectations and feedback.
• Support strategic projects, governance, and workforce planning initiatives.
