Job summary

RSO Architecture in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Payroll and HRIS Specialist to manage our end-to-end payroll cycle and maintain accurate HRIS records.

You will ensure compliance with Philippine labor and tax laws, process timely payments, resolve employee inquiries, and collaborate with HR and Finance for audits and data validation. This role requires 3+ years of payroll experience and strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or business administration.
• Minimum 3+ years of payroll processing and HRIS management experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, payroll software, and ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of local labor and tax laws and government contributions.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll cycle, including salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review timesheets, leave applications, and timekeeping data.
• Ensure remittance and reporting of government contributions and labor law compliance.
• Maintain payroll records, keep HRIS updated, and protect confidentiality.
• Address employee inquiries on payslips, deductions, taxation, and benefits.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance for data validation and year-end audits.

Core Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Supervise and manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, calculating salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
• Time and Attendance: Review and validate timesheets, leave applications, and timekeeping data for accurate payroll runs.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely remittance and reporting of government-mandated contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG in the Philippines) and monitor adherence to labor laws.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate payroll records, keep the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) updated, and ensure strict confidentiality.
• Employee Support: Address employee inquiries regarding payslips, deductions, taxation, and benefit enrollments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Human Resources and Finance departments for smooth payroll processing, data validation, and year-end audits.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and HRIS management.
• Hard Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, payroll software, and ERP systems (e.g., Paycor, Oracle).
