Job summary

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements while supporting the organization's payroll and financial reporting objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in payroll accounting or payroll administration.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in Philippine payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Experience using Payroll and ERP systems.

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, withholding taxes, and government-mandated benefits.
• Familiarity with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software like Sprout or other related software.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and payroll reconciliations.
• Familiarity with internal controls and audit requirements.
