Job summary

SGS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in the Philippines is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll processing in line with company policies and statutory requirements. You will validate data, reconcile payroll records, and ensure employee pay is processed on schedule while coordinating with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

The role involves managing payroll instructions, timekeeping data, and statutory reporting, including annual processes and audits.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely payroll processing in line with policies and statutory requirements
• Prepare and validate payroll data, reconcile payroll records and ensure correct employee payments
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and external vendors to resolve payroll issues
• Process payroll instructions including new hires, resignations, loans and deductions
• Extract and validate timekeeping data from HRIS and compare with payroll records
• Ensure accurate payroll and compensation reporting and regulatory compliance
• Handle payroll invoices via Oracle and monitor payroll-related costs
• Support annual BIR Form 2316 reporting and related employment documentation
• Assist in annual incentive plan and salary review processes
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with minimum wage and related regulations
