Job summary

IDGC in Metro Manila, Philippines, seeks an HR Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll, timekeeping, and government remittances. You will ensure accurate salary processing, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

You will coordinate with government agencies, perform manual payroll computations when needed, and develop payroll trackers and reports using Excel. This role requires 3–5 years of related experience and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of payroll processing, timekeeping, or HR operations.
• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing and manual computations.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll practices and government remittances.
• Proficient in Excel, incl. advanced formulas and PivotTables.
• Experience with Sprout Payroll or similar HRIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll cycle ensuring accurate salary computation and disbursement.
• Prepare and validate payroll inputs: basic salary, overtime, allowances, deductions, and earnings.
• Process payroll changes: hires, resignations, final pay, and adjustments.
• Perform manual payroll computations when needed and validate calculations.
• Reconcile payroll registers and employee records before finalization.
• Monitor attendance, undertime, overtime, tardiness, absences, leaves.
• Process statutory contributions and remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Coordinate with government agencies and handle in-person liaison transactions.
• Use Excel to prepare, validate, reconcile, and analyze payroll data.
• Develop payroll trackers, templates, and management reports.
