Brainbox is seeking a Payroll & AP professional to manage end-to-end payroll and accounts payable for the Australian market from our Philippines location. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely processing.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least two years’ experience in payroll processing, including Employment Hero, with solid knowledge of Australian payroll laws and superannuation requirements.

We are looking for a Payroll & AP who will be responsible for the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, Modern Awards and company policies and other accounting functions.
End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
Accurate calculation and processing of wages, salaries, overtime, allowances, penalties and loadings
Interpretation and application of relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work legislation
Preparation and lodgement of Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting
Preparation and reconciliation of monthly payroll journals for finance
Management and reconciliation of payroll tax obligations
Management and reconciliation of superannuation obligations
Administration of salary sacrifice arrangements
Processing and reconciliation of workers compensation payments
Maintenance of accurate employee payroll records and data integrity within the payroll system
Generating payroll reports for management, finance and audit purposes
Supporting internal and external payroll audits
Accounts payable
Follow up customers on outstanding invoices and update weekly cash flow
Other accounting functions required by the client
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing, particularly within Australian market
At least 2 years of experience in Employment Hero (required)
At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, taxation, and superannuation compliance
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing payroll transactions
