Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in the Philippines seeks a payroll professional to design and operate end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate, timely salary calculations and compliant reporting.

You will maintain payroll data, benefits administration, and reconcile complex payroll components while collaborating with COEs and managers, upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing in the Philippines.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform final pay computation, including separation pay and related components.
• Maintain company benefits administration (e.g., retirement plan, HMO).
• Ensure compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and tax regulations.
• Conduct payroll reconciliation and validation to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support business decisions.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
• Support continuous process improvements and implement error resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with COEs, leads, and managers to address escalations on payroll concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.

Position Summary

Responsible for design and operational plans to manage payroll processing. Addresses strategic and tactical issues pertinent to delivery of Payroll and Operations services. Develops, maintains, and delivers tools and processes related to Payroll data, reporting, payroll tax and accounting, and contingent workforce information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for assigned scope with high accuracy and timeliness
• Perform final pay computation, including separation pay and related components
• Company benefits administration (e.g. retirement plan, HMO and the likes)
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and tax regulations)
• Conduct payroll reconciliation and validation to ensure data integrity
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support business decisions
• Identify discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently
• Support continuous process improvements and implement error resolution strategies
