Private Advertiser is seeking a Payroll and Accounting Assistant in the Philippines to support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and financial recordkeeping. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a careful, organized approach to deadlines and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include preparing payroll, computing deductions, assisting with government contributions, and supporting financial statements and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably with one year experience in payroll and/or accounting functions.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting/office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Good organizational and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to handle both payroll and general accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and processing of employee payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain and verify attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, and other payroll-related records.
• Assist in processing government-mandated contributions, taxes, and employee benefits.
• Prepare accounting documents, schedules, and supporting records for financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.
• Conduct pre-audit reviews of accounting and payroll documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments regarding payroll and accounting concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and accounting records.
• Assist with audit requirements and provide necessary supporting documents.
