Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in payments, remittance, or banking operations.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, SWIFT, ACH, and cross-border remittance processes.
• Proven track record in regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of the Payments & Remittance Department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce operational risks, and enhance customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, AML policies, and KYC requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Product teams to integrate new payment technologies and automation tools.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships with banks, payment gateways, and remittance service providers.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
