Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a medical-related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in hospital, clinic, or healthcare billing is preferred.
• Familiarity with SOA preparation and patient billing systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate accurate Statements of Account (SOA) for patients.
• Encode, review, and verify patient charges for accuracy.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and billing staff on procedures and billable services.
• Review records to identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information.
• Explain SOA details to patients and answer billing inquiries professionally.
• Ensure timely issuance of SOA to avoid delays in billing.
• Assist in updating patient records and maintain billing documentation.
• Coordinate with billing and finance for corrections and account reconciliation.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per privacy policies.
• Support cashiering and collection functions as needed.
