Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes parts requests from internal and external customers.
• Determines parts requirements for vehicle repair and improvement according to guidelines.
• Monitors status and availability of parts orders and informs customers; suggests substitutes when necessary.
• Assists customers with parts inquiries and prepares quotations following prescribed guidelines and standards.
• Maintains housekeeping/maintenance of the parts display area as required by guidelines and standards.
• Conducts routine inventory of parts and accessories in the display area.

Job description

Receives and processes parts requests of Internal and External customers and in determining parts requirements for vehicle repair and/or improvement of vehicles as required by the customers in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and standards in parts request processing

Monitors and informs internal and external customers for the status and availability of the parts order / request and recommends related and/or substitute parts if necessary

Assists internal and external customers with parts inquiries and prepares quotations for parts requests in accordance with prescribed guidelines and standards in parts quotation preparation

Attends to the overall housekeeping/ maintenance requirements of parts display area in accordance with prescribed guidelines and standards

Conducts in regular inventory of parts and accessories in the display area
