Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields required or preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Partnerships or Business Development roles.
• Experience with malls, retail environments, or community partners is advantageous.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mall marketing teams, in-mall tenants, property management offices, schools, hospitals, and community partners
• Identify, approach, and onboard new partners across priority locations in Metro Manila
• Build long-term partnerships that support traffic generation, lead acquisition, and store visibility
• Maintain regular communication with existing partners
• Propose collaboration plans and co-branding opportunities aligned with business objectives
• Coordinate with internal Activation, Retail, Sales, and Marketing teams to turn partnership opportunities into actionable programs
• Maintain partnership pipeline, collaboration calendar, and partner database
• Track partnership performance including traffic quality, lead generation, and sales contribution

Job description

The Partnership Specialist is responsible for developing partnership channels that drive qualified traffic, lead generation, and sales opportunities for Karofi across Metro Manila. This role focuses primarily on building partnerships with malls, in-mall tenants, and nearby community networks including condominiums, schools, hospitals, and local organizations to create collaboration opportunities that support store performance and customer acquisition. The role is responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, approaching and engaging potential partners, proposing collaboration plans, and coordinating with internal Activation/Event teams for execution handover and implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mall marketing teams, in-mall tenants, property management offices, schools, hospitals, and community partners
• Proactively identify, approach, and onboard new partners across priority locations in Metro Manila
• Build long-term partnerships that support traffic generation, lead acquisition, and store visibility
• Maintain regular communication and relationship engagement with existing partners
• Propose partnership ideas, collaboration plans, and co-branding opportunities aligned with business objectives
• Work closely with partners to secure event spaces, customer access, promotional visibility, and activation opportunities
• Support negotiation and coordination of partnership terms, collaboration mechanics, and operational requirements
• Coordinate with internal Activation, Retail, Sales, and Marketing teams to turn partnership opportunities into actionable programs
• Maintain partnership pipeline, collaboration calendar, and partner database
• Track partnership performance including traffic quality, lead generation, and sales contribution

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
• 2-5 years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Mall Marketing, Trade Marketing, Local Area Marketing, or related commercial roles
• Experience working with malls, retail environments, community organizations, schools, hospitals, or local partnerships is an advantage
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Commercially driven with good understanding of customer acquisition and partnership development
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management capability
• Organized, proactive, and execution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working in a field-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Good analytical and reporting skills; proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
