Job Description

Position Overview

The technician install, inspect, maintain, and repair home water purifiers at customers’ premises, ensuring safe operation, leak-free performance, and excellent customer experience. The Technician also take full ownership of the end-to-end job ticket (intake → on-site work → testing → documentation → closure) per company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Field service & installation

• Perform home installation, commissioning, flushing, and calibration of water purifiers; connect water lines, check electrical safety, secure fittings.
• Conduct standard water tests (e.g., TDS, flow-rate, pressure) and record results in the service app/job sheet.
• Execute preventive maintenance and filter replacements by schedule/model; advise customers on proper care.
• Perform warranty and out-of-warranty repairs; diagnose and resolve water/electrical faults on site.

Quality & safety

• Complete leak checks and post-installation/repair verification; perform 48-hour follow-up checks when required by policy.
• Comply with safety protocols (PPE, lock-out/tag-out as applicable), protect customer property, maintain housekeeping.
• Identify recurring issues; support failure analysis (FA), component evaluation, returns of defective parts.

Customer communication

• Educate customers on product usage, filter life, care, and basic troubleshooting; handle technical inquiries/complaints and elevate when needed.
• Represent the brand with a customer-service mindset; capture signatures / feedback / CSAT.

Parts, tools & documentation

• Draw, use,, and reconcile service parts/consumables; return unused/defective parts for accounting and analysis.
• Maintain tools/testers (TDS meter, pressure gauge, etc.) and PPE in good condition.
• Close jobs promptly with full evidence (photos, readings, notes) and report progress to supervisor/center.

Other

• Support First Arrival Inspection / new-model rollouts and service campaigns as assigned.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management consistent with the role.

Qualifications

Education

• Technical/Vocational Diploma or College/Bachelor’s Electrical/Electronics, Refrigeration & Air-Con, MEP, or related fields.

Experience

• Preferably home appliance installation/repair (water purifiers/dispensers, refrigerators, air-conditioners) or plumbing/elect service.

Knowledge/Skills

• Household electrical & water systems; read basic wiring/piping diagrams; diagnostics; safe use of hand/power tools; leak detection; TDS/flow testing; clear job reporting (mobile app/CRM).

Soft skills

• Customer communication & conflict handling; basic computer/smartphone literacy (apps, email, chatli>

Language

• Tagalog and basic English; other languages a plus.
