Job summary

Manila Memorial Park is seeking a Park Operations Officer to oversee construction projects inside the park, including memorials and mausoleums, and to ensure compliance with park rules and DENR-EMB requirements. The role includes coordinating with lot owners, supervising contractors, and managing grounds upkeep and facility maintenance.

The successful candidate will monitor projects, prepare reports, and handle procurement and monthly inventories, contributing to safe, compliant park operations.

Responsibilities

• Discuss with lot owners the requirements for memorial and mausoleum construction and assess corresponding payments
• Monitor all memorial and mausoleum constructions and repairs to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations
• Monitor all company projects within the park to ensure work is carried out according to approved plans and report any deviations to the Construction Department
• As the appointed Pollution Control Officer, ensure compliance with DENR-EMB requirements and permits, including the submission of Quarterly Self-Monitoring and semi-annually Compliance Monitoring Reports
• Conduct cremation services during the absence or days off of the park's cremation crew
• Prepare and submit the monthly gas consumption report of the crematory
• Facilitate purchase requisitions for all park needs and requirements
• Assist in overseeing park grounds upkeep, deep well operations, garbage hauling, and electrical maintenance
• Conduct monthly inventory and monitoring of marker and vault fabrication
• Conduct monthly inspection of contractors’ equipment

About the role

Under the general supervision of the Park Manager, the Park Operations Officer is responsible for monitoring all the construction projects inside the park such as memorial and mausoleum construction and repairs.
