Christ's Commission Fellowship seeks a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant in Pasig to support the Legal Department with document filing, calendar management, and routine correspondence.
The role requires at least two years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal unit, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to draft simple legal documents and review contracts. You will assist with board materials, filings, and meetings as needed.
3. As may be assigned by the Legal Manager, assist the Legal Counsels in their tasks and responsibilities, particularly:
i. Monthly Board Meeting (Attendance, drafting of the Agenda, follow up and follow through
the items discussed during the meeting, recording of the Minutes of the meeting)
ii. Drafting of Secretary’s Certificate, Notice of Meetings, Trustee’s Certificate, Board Resolution
iii. Filing of SEC reportorial requirements (General Information Sheet, Certificate of Existing
Projects, assistance in filing the Annual Financial Statements and other documents as
iv. Maintaining and updating Corporate Records (Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, SEC
Certificate of Incorporation, Business Permit, BIR Registration, Corporate Seal, SEC Notices,
b. Contract Management
i. Process and document Legal Requests and Document Requests based on Contract Review
Narrative; monitor the flow of the contract review and approval process
ii. Perform review or drafting of all contracts, agreements, memoranda, deeds and forms
iii. Securing approval of approving authorities for the processing and execution of contracts
iv. Custody and recording of all contracts
v. Updating of Contract Templates
c. Compliance
i. Help ensure regulatory and legal compliance with all government agency requirements
particularly SEC, BIR, LGU, DOLE, PCEC and National Privacy Commission
ii. Keep organization updated with all new legal and regulatory issuances relevant to the
organization’s operations
iii. Help ensure transactions and activities of departments, satellites and ministries comply with
regulatory and legal requirements
iv. Conduct regular legal audit of departments, ministries and satellites
d. Litigation and Special Projects
i. Prepare legal submissions, status report
ii. Organize and keep record of all litigation files
iii. Execute or implement any special project as may be assigned by the Mancom, the Executive
Director or Legal Manager (may include traveling out of Metro Manila)
e. Client management
ii. Provide legal support as may be required by other departments, ministries and satellites
iii. Provide legal opinion or advice whenever useful and beneficial to management, other
departments, ministries and satellites
4. Participate in all meetings and trainings of the Corporate Legal Department.
5. Participate in all meetings, activities, trainings and retreats held by the organization.
6. Submit Timekeeping Report of Daily Schedule to Legal Manager before very deadline.
7. Such other tasks and responsibilities as the Legal Manager may appoint from time to time
