Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in banking, lending, or financing.
• Must know how to drive a car and/or motorcycle and possess a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Draft transactional and legal documents such as Affidavits of Service, Complaints, Judicial Affidavits, Investigation Data Forms, Compromise Agreements, Notice of Dishonor, Demand Letters, Motions and Manifestations.
• Sort, organize, and finalize Annexes and Exhibits for attachments to Complaints and Judicial Affidavits.
• Update field email threads and send reports to the Department's Viber group during field work.
• Receive and sort Orders, Notices, and Resolutions by various channels.
• Maintain case files by building/updating its database in Google Sheets and the system.
• Negotiate with delinquent clients to enter into compromise agreements and represent the Company in the Philippine Mediation Center.
• Help lawyers prepare for hearings by checking case calendars/status, and organizing files for Court.
• Liaise with other departments and government instrumentalities; testify/represent in Courts and agencies.

About the role

Being the key person in-charge of all Small Claims cases filed by the Company.

Key responsibilities

• Draft transactional and legal documents such as Affidavits of Service, Complaints, Judicial Affidavits, Investigation Data Forms, Compromise Agreements, Notice of Dishonor, Demand Letters, Motions and Manifestations
• Sort, organize, and finalize the Annexes and Exhibits that will serve as attachments to the Complaints and Judicial Affidavits
• Promptly update the designated email threads for accounts in litigation and send short reports to the Department's Viber group during field work
• Receive and sort Orders, Notices, and Resolutions received by the Legal Department through email, registered mail, and/or private courier
• Maintain the Legal Department's case files by building and updating its database in Google Sheets and system
• Negotiate with the Company's delinquent clients to enter into a compromise agreement, and represent the Company in the Philippine Mediation Center
• Help lawyers prepare for the hearing by checking the accuracy of the case calendar and case status, organizing case files to be brought in Court, and communicating with the court staff
• Liaise with the Company's other departments and with government instrumentalities
• Testify and represent the Company in Courts and other government agencies
• Conduct field work when necessary, especially for special cases or projects

About you

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in any banking, lending or financing company
• Must know how to drive a car and/or motorcycle
• Must possess a valid driver's license
