Job summary

BEMPU Health Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore seeks Business Development Interns to research hospitals, hospital chains, NGOs and distributors, and to run email outreach that opens conversations.

You will also research funders and philanthropic organisations in newborn health, collaborate with the CEO on fundraising, and help qualify interest for the sales team; this paid, six-month internship offers practical exposure to how a medical device company builds its commercial and fundraising pipelines.

Qualifications

• Sharp research instincts to find hospital volumes and decision-makers.
• Clear written English for effective cold emails.
• Confident spoken communication with doctors.
• Organised and persistent; follow-up on day 7 and day 21.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and learning a CRM.
• Discretion handling funder correspondence with CEO.

Responsibilities

• Research and build target lists of hospitals, NGOs, CSR programmes and distributors.
• Enrich records with volumes, decision makers and contact details.
• Write and run email outreach sequences and track replies.
• Research funders and philanthropic programmes active in newborn health.
• Work with CEO on fundraising: briefs, outreach drafts and follow-ups.
• Speak with doctors and hospital staff to qualify interest and set up meetings.
