Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced logistics professional to coordinate and manage international Ocean imports and exports. You will liaise between clients and carriers, prepare all required documentation, and arrange insurance to ensure smooth shipments.

The role requires strong knowledge of marine insurance, INCO terms, and excellent communication. You will provide quotes, track shipments, and support billing and vendor tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of marine insurance.
• Knowledge of INCO terms.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and set up international Ocean imports, liaising between client and carrier, and handle required documentation and insurance setup.
• Coordinate and set up international Ocean exports, liaising between client and carrier, and handle required documentation and insurance setup.
• Provide ocean quotes to clients and agents.
• Track shipments and update client notes in CW.
• Perform administrative tasks including approving vendor tasks and billing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
• Review export controls regulations & MIGRA compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinates and sets up international Ocean import including but not limited to liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
• Coordinates and sets up international Ocean export including but not limited to liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
• Provides ocean quotes to clients and agents.
• Tracking & Tracing and updates client visible notes in CW accordingly.
• Administrative duties such as approving vendor tasks and billing.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and carriers.
• Reviewing and adhering to export controls regulations & MIGRA
  
  

Required Skills

• 2 years related experience with strong knowledge of logistics
• Knowledge of marine insurance
• Knowledge of INCO terms
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills
• Ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and with high keying accuracy
• Deductive reasoning and critical problem-solving skill
• Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute
