Job summary

JORI Logistics in Cebu City seeks an experienced Ocean Logistics Coordinator to manage international ocean import and export operations. You will liaise between clients and carriers, prepare required documentation and insurance, and provide accurate quotes to clients and agents.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, updating notes in CW, and handling administrative duties such as vendor task approvals and billing while ensuring compliance with export controls and MIGRA.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience with strong knowledge of logistics.
• Knowledge of marine insurance.
• Knowledge of INCO terms.
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and with high keying accuracy.
• Deductive reasoning and critical problem-solving skill.
• Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and sets up international Ocean import including liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
• Coordinates and sets up international Ocean export including liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
• Provides ocean quotes to clients and agents.
• Tracking & Tracing and updates client visible notes in CW accordingly.
• Administrative duties such as approving vendor tasks and billing.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and carriers.
• Reviewing and adhering to export controls regulations & MIGRA.
