The role ensures customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and within established timelines while maintaining inventory accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency. The position also supervises warehouse personnel, monitors performance, enforces safety and quality standards, and works closely with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth order fulfillment and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily outbound warehouse activities, including picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping.
- Ensure customer orders are accurately processed and dispatched within required timelines.
- Monitor order picking, packing, and shipping accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure outbound shipments comply with customer requirements and operational standards.
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, shortages, and delivery-related issues.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate warehouse associates and team leaders.
- Manage workforce scheduling, attendance, manpower allocation, and daily work assignments.
- Conduct training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching for warehouse personnel.
- Coordinate with Inventory Control and other departments to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory movements associated with order fulfillment and shipping activities.
- Ensure proper stock rotation practices, including FIFO and FEFO, are consistently followed.
- Monitor and analyze operational KPIs such as order accuracy, order fill rate, productivity, throughput, and on-time shipment performance.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Enforce warehouse safety policies, procedures, and applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
- Conduct safety briefings, inspections, and incident investigations as required.
- Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with Planning, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Dispatch, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and other external partners regarding shipment schedules and operational concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure staging, loading, and dispatch areas comply with 5S and established operational standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering outbound performance, shipment status, manpower utilization, and operational issues.
- Analyze operational trends and recommend process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve productivity, optimize outbound processes, and enhance service levels.
- Participate in warehouse optimization, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Hands-on experience in order fulfillment, picking, packing, shipping, and transportation coordination.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and RF scanning devices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong supervisory, coaching, and team development skills.
- Experience in workforce scheduling, manpower planning, and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to analyze operational data and warehouse performance metrics.
- Experience monitoring and improving KPIs related to order accuracy, productivity, shipment performance, and service levels.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.
