About the Role:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing the quality management framework for all deliverables produced by the offshore team, including fiber designs, as-built drawings, and permit packages. As the organization's quality gatekeeper, this role ensures that all outputs meet client, regulatory, and company standards prior to release. The QC Manager leads the Quality Control team, develops and maintains review processes, checklists, and audit procedures, and leverages quality metrics and defect analysis to drive corrective actions, continuous improvement, and operational excellence as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain the offshore quality management framework for all OSP engineering and permitting deliverables, aligned with client standards.
• Lead and supervise the QC engineering team: workload distribution, review cycles, and first-time acceptance (FTA) performance.
• Establish and maintain QC checklists, design review workflows, and documentation standards for fiber design, as-builts, and permit packages.
• Act as final quality gatekeeper — validate and sign off on all client deliverables.
• Analyze quality metrics and defect trends; identify root causes and drive corrective action plans across the engineering team.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Manager and US project managers to communicate quality findings, resolve design discrepancies, and manage client feedback loops.
• Facilitate training on quality standards, common design errors, and client-specific requirements for engineering and drafting staff.
• Track and report weekly KPIs: rework rate, QC cycle time, FTA rate, on-time delivery.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
Must have minimum of 4 years' experience in OSP Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), or a related telecommunications environment.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing quality control processes, standards, and review frameworks.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing, mentoring, or overseeing technical and quality-focused teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with US-based clients and stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in OSP fiber design, with sufficient proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar engineering tools to perform detailed technical reviews and validations.
Strong understanding of U.S. telecommunications carrier standards, specifications, and design requirements, including experience supporting projects for AT&T, Charter, or similar service providers.
Experience conducting root cause analysis, defect trending, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to drive continuous improvement.
Lean Six Sigma, Quality Management, or other process improvement certifications is a plus
Must be willing to work flexible schedules (including weekends and holidays)
Must be willing to work onsite in Pasay City
