Job summary

Virtual Staffing Solutions OPC is seeking a senior OSP engineering leader in Cebu City to guide a Philippines-based team and coordinate with U.S. leadership. You will oversee daily workflows, assign projects, plan capacity, and manage performance while upholding high standards of design and delivery.

You will establish and refine engineering processes, review complex design packages, and mentor junior engineers. Remote/offshore collaboration and offshore team management experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–5 years of OSP engineering experience and 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of fiber network design (FTTH, OSP, ISP).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Experience managing remote/offshore teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Philippines-based OSP engineering team, overseeing daily workflows, project assignments, capacity planning, and performance management.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between U.S.-based leadership and the offshore engineering team, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve engineering processes, quality standards, and delivery frameworks across fiber design and permitting service lines.
• Review and approve complex engineering design packages, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
• Monitor project throughput, turnaround times (TAT), and quality metrics (rework rate, FTA rate) and report weekly to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the QC Manager to enforce design standards and proactively address recurring quality issues before client delivery.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development of new team members across technical and platform skill tracks.
• Coordinate with U.S. project managers on client-specific standards, scope changes, and escalation management.
