Job summary

ePERFORMAX Contact Centers Corporation seeks an OSP QC Engineer to act as the quality checkpoint between design teams and clients, reviewing OSP engineering design packages to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance before submission.

The role focuses on validating FTTH/fiber routing, cable designs, and data integrity, supporting FTA metrics, and maintaining QC documentation to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of OSP engineering or QC experience
• Knowledge of FTTH architecture and fiber design standards
• Detail orientation with strong written English communication
• Ability to work independently through high volumes of review work with consistency
• Root cause analysis / continuous improvement training (Six Sigma or similar a plus)
• Experience with AT&T, Charter, or similar US carrier platform and design standards preferred
• GIS proficiency (ArcGIS, QGIS) and Google Earth Pro / KMZ workflows
• Hands-on drafting background in AutoCAD or MicroStation (able to check work at the drawing level)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive quality reviews of OSP engineering design packages for accuracy, constructability, and client-standard compliance
• Review and validate F1/F2 fiber routing, splitter placements, terminal and splice point locations, and overall FTTH network architecture
• Verify aerial, underground, and buried cable designs reflect cost-effective solutions and proper placement per client scope of work
• Validate field-collected data, KMZ files, photos, and route alignments for accuracy and completeness prior to client submission
• Verify fiber distribution designs meet client requirements
• Identify design deficiencies and provide clear, constructive feedback to design staff via structured QC checklists
• Support first-time acceptance (FTA) metrics by ensuring designs meet all client quality benchmarks before delivery
• Maintain documentation standards and contribute to continuous improvement of QC processes

About the Role:

The OSP QC Engineer is the quality checkpoint between the design team and the client. You will perform comprehensive reviews of OSP engineering design packages — fiber overbuild, FTTH, and business-as-usual (BAU) work orders — ensuring every deliverable is accurate, constructable, and compliant with client standards before it leaves the team. Your work directly drives first-time acceptance (FTA) rates, the key quality metric for the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive quality reviews of OSP engineering design packages, including fiber overbuild, FTTH, and BAU work orders, for accuracy, constructability, and client-standard compliance
• Review and validate F1/F2 fiber routing, splitter placements, terminal and splice point locations, and overall FTTH network architecture
