Job summary

Virtual Staffing Solutions OPC is seeking a Senior QC/QA Manager in Cebu City to develop and enforce offshore quality management for OSP engineering and permitting deliverables. You will lead a technical team, establish robust QC processes, and ensure all outputs meet client and internal standards.

You will analyze defect trends, drive corrective actions, and serve as the gatekeeper for deliverables, coordinating with the Engineering Manager and US project managers to address design

Qualifications

• 4+ years in OSP engineering or QA/QC experience.
• Experience developing QC processes and managing technical teams.
• Background in BS in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain offshore quality management framework for OSP engineering and permitting deliverables.
• Lead and supervise the QC engineering team; manage workload and FTA performance.
• Establish QC checklists, design review workflows, and documentation standards for fiber design, as-builts, and permit packages.
• Analyze quality metrics and defect trends; drive corrective action across the team.
• Serve as the quality gatekeeper for client deliverables; ensure proper validation and sign-off.
• Coordinate with Engineering Manager and U.S. PMs to communicate findings and resolve discrepancies.
• Facilitate training on quality standards for engineering staff.
• Track and report KPIs (rework rate, QC cycle time, FTA rate, on-time delivery) weekly.

Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the offshore quality management framework for all OSP engineering and permitting deliverables, ensuring alignment with client and FBR Global standards
• Lead and supervise the QC engineering team, managing workload distribution, review cycles, and first-time acceptance (FTA) performance
• Establish and maintain QC checklists, design review workflows, and documentation standards for fiber design, as-builts, and permit packages
• Analyze quality metrics and defect trends to identify root causes; develop and drive corrective action plans across the engineering team
• Serve as the quality gatekeeper for all client deliverables, ensuring nothing leaves the team without proper validation and sign-offCoordinate directly with the Engineering Manager and U.S. project managers to communicate quality findings, resolve design discrepancies, and manage client feedback loops
• Facilitate training sessions on quality standards, common design errors, and client-specific requirements for engineering and drafting staff
• Track and report KPIs including rework rate, QC cycle time, FTA rate, and on-time delivery on a weekly basis to senior leadership
