Job summary

A leading outsourcing service provider in Cebu City is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to review blueprints and specifications. This full-time office role involves planning and maintaining Outside Plant records, ensuring design accuracy, and managing OSP-related projects. Job description

Our Quality Control Engineer will review as-builts, blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.

This is a full-time role, following the U.S time zone (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST), and a Work-in-Office (WIO) position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for planning, estimating, designing and maintaining Outside Plant and associated records.
  Inputand track associate parts required for design and generate a BOM including dollar amounts.
• Ensure proper processes are followed to ensure that designs/records are input and maintained accurately and consistently.
• Produce reports as needed to reflect various OSP assets required including home passing.
• Build records regarding number of passings and other associated documentation for multiple departments.
• Ensure that plant designs are effectively protected.
• Produce drawings/tables to ensure accurate installation and testing by 3rd party contractors.
• Assists team in troubleshooting and tracking issues, presents creative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic)or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 4 years of working experience specializing in Engineering Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
• Must have actual working experience in a Telecom company.
• With experience managing OSP-related projects from planning, designing, implementation,and evaluation.
• Background and skills in OSP, Fiber to the Home (FTTH), and Fiber Optics are an advantage.
• Familiarity with GPON systems (distributed and consolidated) architectures is an advantage.
