Job summary

GAIC Professional Services Inc. is seeking a leader to head its Philippines-based OSP engineering team, overseeing daily workflows, project assignments, and performance management.

You will serve as the primary technical liaison between U.S.-based leadership and offshore engineers to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations. Responsibilities include establishing and improving engineering processes, reviewing complex design packages, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 5+ years OSP engineering experience; 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of fiber network design (FTTH, OSP, ISP).
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience managing remote/offshore teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Philippines-based OSP engineering team, overseeing daily workflows, project assignments, capacity planning, and performance management.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between U.S.-based leadership and the offshore engineering team, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve engineering processes, quality standards, and delivery frameworks across fiber design and permitting service lines.
• Review and approve complex engineering design packages, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
• Monitor project throughput, turnaround times (TAT), and quality metrics (rework rate, FTA rate) and report weekly to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the QC Manager to enforce design standards and proactively address recurring quality issues before client delivery.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development of new team members across technical and platform skill tracks.
• Coordinate with U.S. project managers on client-specific standards, scope changes, and escalation management.
