Job summary

Hard Discount Philippines Inc. is seeking an Order Specialist to manage end-to-end order processing onsite in Caloocan City and adjacent areas. You will inspect shipments, coordinate with warehouse staff, and ensure customers understand any order changes or alternatives.

The role requires strong communication in a diverse environment and proficiency with MS Office. You will work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4 year course.
• Experience and knowledge with encoding and inventory systems are an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with other nationalities.
• Proficiency in MS Suite

Responsibilities

• Handle order processing from entry to shipment inspection and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments and guide warehouse staff to ship orders.
• Communicate changes to customers and explain alternatives.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in additions and removals.
• Perform checking and accuracy tasks.
• Pre-check and final-check orders to reflect customer orders 100%.
• Verify item barcodes match products and check for alternate barcodes in case of discrepancies.
• Report mismatching images or product descriptions.
• Minimize errors from other teams (removing items, incorrect stock removal, substitutions).
• Address concerns about order specialist negligence (tone, communication, or amending picklist).

Job Description

• Responsible for all aspects of order processing. This includes entering new orders, inspecting shipments and managing customer satisfaction and more.
• Work with other departments as needed and direct warehouse personnel to get shipments out.
• Communicates clearly with the customers, ensuring that they understand all the changes that are being made to their orders & what the potential alternatives are.
• 100% accurate with all additions and removals made.
• Checking and Accuracy
• Responsible for pre-checking and final checking their order to ensure that it reflects the customer’s order 100% with no lacking or over-picked items.
• Checks the item barcode matches the product on hand and will check for alternate barcodes in case of discrepancies.
• Reports any mismatching images or product descriptions.
• Minimizes errors reported from other team (forgetting to remove items, wrong remove of in stock items from the order, adding items without picking, lacking markings or adding the wrong substitute)
• Concerns relating to Order Specialist negligence (poor tone of voice, lack of communication or failure to amend picklist correctly)
