Job summary
Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Production Operator at the Calamba Plant. The role operates specific machines, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures production meets specifications at the right time and cost. You will engage in online QC, maintain materials and logs, and coordinate with peers to ensure smooth shifts.
The position requires a degree in engineering and willingness to work at Km. 50 Brgy. San Cristobal, Calamba City, Laguna.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Km. 50 Brgy. San Cristobal, Calamba City, Laguna.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and checks quality of all materials needed for scheduled operations.
- Cleans, sanitizes and prepares machine and surrounding area according to start-up procedures.
- Checks if machines are in good running condition and minimizes startup rejections.
- Operates machines in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and GMP.
- Performs online QC and checks in-process/finished product specs to ensure quality.
- Maintains inventory and signs production and log reports.
- Coordinates with other machine operators and assists supervisor as needed.

Responsible for producing goods within standardspecifications at the right time at a minimum cost. Performs immediatecorrective maintenance and troubleshooting in case machine breaks down andconducts preventive maintenance as planned until authorized personnel areavailable.
- Prepares and checks quality of all the materials needed for the scheduled operations.
- Cleans, sanitizes and prepares the machine/sand surrounding area before operations in accordance with standardcleaning and start-up procedures.
- Checks if machine/s are in good runningcondition.
- Ensure less start up rejections
- Operates the machine/s in accordance with theStandard Operating Procedures.
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, SafetyProcedures, Company rules and regulations.
- Performs On-line QC and checks in process /finished product specifications on the required frequency to ensure goodquality products.
- Conducts daily inventory of raw, packaging,cleaning materials, consumables, and finished goods depending on machinebeing operated.
- Accomplishes and signs production reports(forms and logbooks) and inventory reports.
- Reports all matters affecting machineoperation and product quality to Production Supervisor.
- Ensures proper turnover of the machineoperation to his reliever.
- Coordinates with other machine operators.
- Ensures machines are properly shutdown and allmaterials (good and rejects) are properly segregated, weighed, labeled andplaced in designated areas.
- Conducts general cleaning of machine andsurroundings as per Standard Cleaning Procedures
- Ensures that all machine parts / accessoriesand tools are in placed/ secured and machines are turned-off beforeleaving the area.
- Performs other functions as may be assigned bysuperior from time
