Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance in our production lines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will coordinate with multiple departments, update maintenance reports, and assist in breakdown analyses.

A background in engineering and SAP/MS Office is valued, with at least 2 years in manufacturing and 1 year in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

Engineering degree; license/certification is an advantage.
At least 2 years in manufacturing with 1 year in supervision.
Experience implementing EHS, GMP, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, HALAL and FSSC.
Strong leadership, communication and record-keeping skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; people management experience.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
Coordinate with departments on maintenance activities for line machinery.
Report non-conformances to Maintenance Supervisors and address issues.
Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, ISO standards and safety systems.
Daily line inspections and upkeep of quality and safety practices.
Prepare maintenance reports and participate in breakdown analyses.
Provide feedback to line/process owners on maintenance matters.
Attend turnover activities and complete required maintenance documentation.
Perform other tasks as delegated by supervisor.

About the role

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Technician to execute electrical and mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with production plans and established standards.

Key responsibilities

Execute electrical and mechanical preventive and/or corrective maintenance aligned with production plans and established standards, including process and product quality, and machine maintenance
Coordinate with involved departments on machine maintenance, basic equipment care, and corrective or preventive maintenance activities for all mechanical and electrical components of the line
Coordinate to the Maintenance Supervisor/s potential non-conformances and possible machine breakdowns
Align with the implementation of policies and standards related to EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC
Conduct daily inspection of the line and ensure compliance to implemented safety and quality systems and standards
Assist in preparing maintenance reports and participate in breakdown analyses to address non-conformances and operational losses
Provide feedback on electrical and mechanical maintenance to the assigned team and line and process owners
Accomplish maintenance reports as needed and attend turnover activities
Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior

About you

Graduate of any engineering course, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; license and/or certification is an advantage
At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry, at least 1 year of which in a supervisory capacity, preferably with experience in maintenance operations and exposure in food and beverage manufacturing industry
Aptitude in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC
Prominent leadership, communication and basic management skills (planning, leading, organizing and controlling), team player, keen to details, and organized record-keeping skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum) and SAP
Excellent people management skills, backed by solid experience in coaching, mentoring, employee discipline, performance management, talent development and change management
